Veterinary Referral

Service for dogs

Choosing a behaviourist that is right for you and your clients

I understand that as there is no current regulation on the behaviour and training industry it can be a minefield picking a behaviourist to refer your clients to.

I am a candidate member of the Fellowship of Animal Behaviour Clinicians and work within their code of conduct. I work on vet referral. I keep you, the vet up to date

with progress and do not step out of my knowledge. I have great relationships with other behaviourists and refer cases on that are out of my current competency. I am

alsoan associate member of the Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors. FAB often run veterinary Q and A sessions that you may be interested in, you can read about them here.

Please reach out if you have any questions at all. If you haven't read it already you may find this paper on pain and problem behaviour helpful. Here is a paper on training methods

too. I do not use methods that are coercive or based on pain. Sometimes clients can claim back from their insurance company and all of my price information can be read over here.
