Hello! I'm Lisa

I adore dogs and I'm passionate about supporting you to bring out the best in them. I'm a qualified, accredited behaviourist who studied clinical animal behaviour with the University of Edinburgh. I've worked with dogs since 2016 and experienced lots of different behaviours. I'm here to support you through it all.
In my spare time, I volunteer for the Blue Cross, teaching children about pet care and dog body language. I know how overwhelming it can be when your dog is behaving in a way thats stressful, baffling and puts them in danger. Although, it may be well meaning advice people in the park, google, social media and forums will tell you different things - the plethora of information can be overwhelming.
Dogs deserve better. They deserve someone to understand the motivation and emotion behind their behaviour rather than being labelled 'naughty' or 'dominant' by people who don't know your dog. Knowing that methods that cause fear and pain are still used by some, inspired me to keep on learning to be a Clinical Animal Behaviourist.
My approach is thorough, empathetic and clear. It can be really hard when your dog is barking and lunging on the end of the lead.

I'd love to meet you and your dog.
I've always loved dogs! I've volunteered with the RSPCA walking the rescued dogs, veterinary clinics, and hydrotherapy centres. I've worked with a charity providing social media support highlighting what rescued dogs are looking for new homes. After studying canine first aid, training and body language I graduated from the University of Edinburgh Royal (Dick) School of Vet Studies. I've spoken on BBC Breakfast and radio about pet welfare, I'm passionate about spreading the word as there is still so much equipment and methodologies that can harm our canine companions.
I'm here to support you through it all with your dog. People tell me that I'm down to earth, clear and supportive in my approach.
Having a dog should be a joyful fun experience. I'm here to help you with that.
