Reactivity Group Sessions

For dogs who bark, growl and lunge at other dogs.. they are basically saying "leave me alone!"

Book Initial Behavioural Consultation (Required)

A community of reactive dog owners

I know, how important it is for you (because you told me) to be able to practice reactivity skills in a calm, controlled, and safe environment.

Creating set up's where a dog can be at a safe comfortable distance (rather than dogs hurtling over in the park and overwhelming them is key).

These small, supportive sessions are designed just for that. Your dog can build confidence at their own pace, without pressure.

I'll guide you on:

Techniques to get focus back on you.

How to spot signs your dog is going over threshold and into the red zone before they bark out of the blue.

Supporting your dog to stay calm and relaxed around other dogs and predict good things.

What to do if something goes wrong in a real life situation.

How to build up positive associations with being around other dogs.

It can often feel overwhelming when a dog is barking and lunging on the other end of the lead. Here you will be supported and given tools and knowledge to

understand how your dog is feeling so you can take steps to help them feel safer so they do not go into the red zone and react by barking, lunging or growling.

It is important for reactive dogs to be around other dogs and have positive experiences in a way that does not overwhelm and scare them. It can feel lonely being

out on walks and avoiding dogs all of the time so I wanted to set up this community so that people can practice skills they learnt with me in the consultation.

Want a safe space where your dog can grow their confidence around other dogs — at a distance that works for them? You’ve found it.

Spaces are limited, so early booking is recommended!

Here are some frequently asked questions (just let me know if you have any more!)

Is the field fenced in?   Yes, it is.

Do they come through the same door at once?  No we take it in turns.

Will it make my dog worse?   All the dogs there have completed reactivity sessions with me so have a level of training already.

The field is large so we can gather space to help your dog feel comfortable and assess the situation.

Who will run the sessions?  The sessions will be run by me, Lisa, I've worked with reactive dogs since 2016.

What if the weather is too wet or hot? We will reschedule and your booking will roll over to the next date you can make.

Download the Reactivity Guide here. So you can track triggers and glimmers on walks a Diary is also available.

If you don't want to sign up to the newsletter and still want either guide email me and I will get that over to you.
