A community of reactive dog owners

Download the Reactivity Guide here. So you can track triggers and glimmers on walks a Diary is also available.

If you don't want to sign up to the newsletter and still want either guide email me and I will get that over to you.

Does this sound like the walks you experience?

You’re constantly asking people to put their dog on the lead

You’re hiding behind cars to avoid triggers?

You feel your shoulders getting tighter when you see a dog?

You wish you could have a calm walk where people are not shouting at you?

Then this reactivity group class is for you and your dog.

Only people who have completed a behavioural consultation with me can attend so everyone has a level of understanding.

How often do you get to be around other dogs in a calm managed and structured way?

This is why I set up the reactive dog classes. It helps people implement and practice the techniques to help build habits.

It’s 45 minutes of real time training, that you and your dog can learn in with guidance and people who get it.

No dogs running over to yours. No dogs springing up anywhere.

If you’re like most people who have a dog who is reactive, walks are a stressor. You may trust no one else to help you.

What’s included?

Time with me the behaviourist to guide you on your lead techniques to reduce tension.

Helping you spot signs your dog is comfortable vs when they are not.

A field to practice in – it is fenced in and private so no unknown dogs will come in.

Time to work on the skills in the report around other dogs in real time.

The chance to be around a community of dog owners who also experience overwhelm on walks.

How it works

To attend, you will need to have completed a behavioural consult with me. Everyone in the field will have done this – I personally know everyone. This avoids people being there that do not have the foundation skills to work from and who have dogs who may be completely unpredictable. I am here to support and guide you on the techniques.

  • A lead in good condition (no fraying)
  • Plenty of tasty treats your dog loves

Want a safe space where your dog can grow their confidence around other dogs — at a distance that works for them? You’ve found it.

Spaces are limited, so early booking is recommended!

Here are some frequently asked questions (just let me know if you have any more!)

Is the field fenced in?   Yes, it is.

Do they come through the same door at once?  No we take it in turns.

Will it make my dog worse?   All the dogs there have completed reactivity sessions with me so have a level of training already.

The field is large so we can gather space to help your dog feel comfortable and assess the situation.

Who will run the sessions?  The sessions will be run by me, Lisa, I've worked with reactive dogs since 2016.

What if the weather is too wet or hot? We will reschedule and your booking will roll over to the next date you can make.
