Muzzle before you need it - helping keeping a dog worlds safe
Muzzle training can help with the following:
- Training: Allow you to be able to treat your dog while they are wearing it
- Safety: Mean they can't pick up harmful items on a walk - especially in the summer which can include decomposed wildlife, toxic plants and picnic bits
- Space: Dogs who need more space because they are worried
- Health and Welfare: Examination at the vets - many dogs are worried at the vets and this protects them and their vet. If a dog is sore they are less tolerant and their stress stacks up more easily.
- Less stress: Help you feel more comfortable when an off lead dog or person comes close - knowing your dog and the other dog is safe
- More relaxation: If you are in a restaurant or pub you can feel more relaxed
If you can relate to any of the above then this training session is for you!
How often do you get hands on muzzle training guidance aside from on the screen?
This is why I set up the muzzle training class. It helps people implement the training and get a dog muzzle ready, without all the stress.
It’s 45 minutes of real time training, that you and your dog can learn in with guidance and people who get it.
All dogs in the class will be learning how to wear a muzzle.
.
What’s included?
- Time with me the behaviourist to guide you on how to set you up for muzzle success.
- What treats to use
- How to introduce a muzzle including techniques like shaping
- A field to practice in – it is fenced in and private so no unknown dogs will come in.
- Time to work on the skills with your dog
- The chance to be around a community of dog owners who love their dog and want to keep them safe.
